Welcome to our Practice

We are proudly entering our 40^th year of providing health care in the Waynesboro area.  After the practice was established by Dr. Bruce Foster in 1975, he was joined by Dr. Robert Ternes in 1979.  Dr. Robert Goldman became part of the medical practice in 1984.  At that time, our office was located in the Waynesboro Mall.  The doctors also cared for patients in the hospital and were responsible for medical care in the Intensive Care/Coronary Care unit at the Waynesboro Hospital.  The office moved to the present location in the Welty Medical Center in 1985.  Carranda Barkdoll, CRNP came on board in 2001.

Our capable and caring staff is anchored by our office manager Carol Lowe, who has been with the practice since 1978.  We are very proud of the atmosphere our staff has created as they compassionately and skillfully assist our patients.  In many instances, our patients enjoy their personal interaction with the staff as much as the time spent with their physician.

Internal Medicine is the practice of adult medicine and includes significant training in all medical sub specialties affording the opportunity to manage patient health problems in multiple system areas and many disease types.  While referral to specialists is always available, we pride ourselves on being able to provide comprehensive care of patients often saving both time and cost.  Through training, we also provide care to teenage patients and especially value doing so when it allows families to have most, if not all, members cared for by the same practice.
